58% faster than other athletes
Median 471 ms across athletes tested so far (early access, n = 214) — not a population norm.
Performance Analyst to Thibaut Courtois and FIFA Senior Expert Goalkeeper.
Your eyes observe. Your brain analyzes and decides. Your feet and your hands react. This tool needs no extra hardware, it just works where coaches and athletes need it.

The game got faster. The clock didn’t.
There’s less time on the ball than ever. The best players have already decided before it arrives.
They don’t move faster. They decide sooner — reading the shape of a play before the ball catches up.
Physical performance has already peaked; ‘the next step is to see what’s going on in the brain.’ — Arsène Wenger, FIFA’s Head of Global Football Development (Telegraph, 2021)

Why this measures something real
In elite sports, the bottleneck isn’t physical—it’s cognitive. Train the brain’s capacity to process visual data under pressure, and you improve an athlete’s reaction time.— Romain Bordas, Neurovision
What the test measures
- Visuomotor reactivity. How quickly you notice something and start reacting to it — the raw speed everything else is built on.
- Cognitive association. Matching what you see to the right response, correctly, without stopping to think about it.
- Motor coordination. How cleanly and evenly both sides of your body carry out the movement once you’ve decided.
What your number means
Reaction time is the time from the colours appearing to the first movement your camera detects.
Why it matters
- Perception. Elite athletes read the right cues faster and more accurately than everyone else. (Mann et al., 2007)
- Processing. They also process what they see faster, full stop, not just on the pitch. (Voss et al., 2010)
- Results. In elite football, faster decision-making has been linked to more goals and assists. (Vestberg et al., 2012, 2017)
- Method. Reacting to a random signal, the way this test does, is a well-established way to measure decision speed. (Lord & Fitzpatrick, 2001)
How we’ll build training
Decision speed can be trained — but most training doesn’t survive contact with the game: across team sports, gains on the pitch run at less than half of what shows up in the lab. So we’re not building this in a lab. We’re building it with Thierry Barnerat and Romain Bordas, using the same methods they’ve already proven with elite athletes — signals and movement that look like your sport, not a screen. (Zhu et al., 2024)
Reaction Speed is a performance tool. Not a medical device, not for diagnosis.
The product roadmap
Like anything worth trusting, we build this step by step — with the same experts already using these methods in elite sport.
Test
Live now.
Know your numbers and watch the trend. Benchmarked against football today — other sports are coming.
Train
In development.
Designed to train decision speed the way the game demands it: unpredictable, whole-body, built around your sport.
Activate
Coming later.
Prime the system before you compete. The matchday layer elite practitioners already deliver in person.
Be first in line.
You’re on the list — we’ll be in touch.
